Gopabandhu Seva Parisad is a non-profit organization established in 2000, working to uplift disadvantaged and marginalized communities in Odisha. The organization operates across Puri district (Puri Sadar, Delang, and Kanas blocks), Koraput district (Boipariguda block), and Malkangiri district (Khairiput, Mathili, Malkangiri, and Kalimela blocks), covering 108 villages. With a strong commitment to social development, it focuses on addressing the needs of vulnerable groups through sustainable programs that promote dignity, equality, and empowerment.
Our Values
The organization is dedicated to the empowerment of excluded and marginalized communities, especially women, children, and other vulnerable segments of society. It upholds values of social security, sustainable growth, human rights protection, advocacy, and direct intervention. By leveraging the power of outreach activism, Gopabandhu Seva Parisad works to create an inclusive and just society, free from violence, discrimination, and social stigma.
Our Objectives
Gopabandhu Seva Parisad aims to organize and support marginalized communities in securing better income opportunities, improved healthcare, and access to quality education. The organization works towards ensuring their rights, enhancing livelihood prospects, and promoting environmental sustainability. Special attention is given to children, women, and persons with special abilities, helping them overcome social and economic barriers through community-driven initiatives and capacity-building programs.
